OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - An Omaha juvenile , who was at one time charged as an adult for murder, has changed his plea.

The boy was 16 years old last December when he killed his mother’s abusive boyfriend, Charles Primes , saying he was fed up with it.

His case was later moved to juvenile court .

He was due in court today, but the appearance was canceled after he pleaded “no contest” to manslaughter rather than first-degree murder.

The boy, now 17, is sentenced to indefinite probation.
