All three Top 10 Midlands high school football schools face teams Friday within their rankings.

Three-time defending Class 5A Division I champion and top-ranked Dutch Fork opens the season at home against 10th-ranked Spartanburg. After beating defending Class 3A champion and third-ranked Oceanside Collegiate Academy last week, fourth-ranked Irmo travels to eighth-ranked J.F. Byrnes.

Meanwhile, ninth-ranked Ridge View begins a two-game “championship road stretch.” They visit defending Division II champion Northwestern this Friday, followed next week by a televised matchup with Dutch Fork.

A.C. Flora, ranked sixth in Class 4A, faces Chapin in the WACH 57 Sonic “Friday Night Rivals” Game of the Week. The Falcons are coming off a 30-19 win over Westwood.
