(KRON) -- A grass fire started by a flaming vehicle has shut down all lanes of Interstate 580 Friday, said the Alameda County Fire Department.

The blaze started at 2:35 p.m. east of Grant Line and Midway roads in the Altamont area of Livermore, said ACFD.

There is no current timetable on when all lanes are expected to be reopened.

There are no reports of injuries so far.

An image from Caltrans camera shows traffic severely backed up from the incident.

Commuters are urged to avoid to area and watch for fire crews.
