Huntington Fire Department on scene of house fire

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Huntington Fire Department crews are on the scene Friday evening of a house fire in the Westmoreland area of Huntington.

It is unknown if anyone is still inside the home, according to an HFD Deputy Fire Chief.

According to our crew at the scene, there were exposure concerns to a house next door.

The fire was reported before 6:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of Auburn Road.

Damage to the primary home is extensive.
