As September marks national recovery month, a statewide campaign aimed to spread awareness and support around substance use disorder is coming to north Alabama.
The "Recovery Is Here" campaign is holding an event at Snead State Community College on Sept. 9 to equip the community with resources to help with substance use disorder.
The one day event will have an information fair giving people a chance to learn about different local and statewide recovery organizations while also offering personal substance use recovery stories from those in long term recovery.
