(FOX40.COM) — Four individuals were arraigned in court on Thursday, following their arrests for methamphetamine trafficking and endangerment of a five-month-old infant, according to the San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office.

On Tuesday, the four suspects were stopped by deputies for a traffic stop on Interstate 580 for committing multiple traffic violations. After being stopped by the deputies, K9 Rango alerted to the odor of narcotics inside the vehicle.

A search revealed ten vacuum-sealed packages containing 10.9 pounds of methamphetamine. Deputies also discovered a five-month-old infant inside the vehicle, according to the district attorney's office.
