BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Superior Mobile Home Park in Oildale has been the scene of a spate of violent crime in the last couple months, including arson, murder, arson again, and another murder.
The 18-space poverty stricken trailer park off State Road in Oildale, a place so tiny it is just barely visible from Highway 99, has been the scene of arson and violent death in the last three months.
On May 31st, a fire broke out in a trailer in a northeastern lot in the middle of the day, killing 52-year-old Amber Wimberley.
Reports say, 32-year-old Nicole Taylor admitted that she started the fire. She was charged with murder. Then, around 2 a.m., on Aug. 8th, another fire broke out.
