North Ridgeville – It’s a sport with which many folks may not be familiar, but it’s burgeoning in popularity among the youngsters and may be a way to get a college scholarship. It’s Lacrosse, and North Ridgeville, along with many surrounding communities, are fielding their own team and are part of the Northern Ohio Lacrosse League (NOLL). The Young Rangers Lacrosse team is designed for boys in grades three through eight, and they also field a club team for boys in high school.
There is a girls’ version of the game, however North Ridgeville does not currently have a girls’ team and coaches encourage young ladies that are interested in playing to join a nearby team.
