General manager Rob Papineau announced that Leonard, a 16-year-old Toronto native and the Wolves’ fourth-round choice in the OHL Priority Selection this past spring, had signed with the team at the conclusion of training camp.
The 6-foot-1, 178-pounder from the Toronto Titans U16 AAA program was one of four goalies, 11 defencemen and 18 forwards named to Sudbury’s pre-season roster ahead of a visit to the Soo Greyhounds on Sunday at 2:07 p.m. Article content
“Owen had a fantastic camp,” Papineau said in a media release. “He played great all week. He is a goalie who we feel will be a big part of our future and we are looking forward for
