'Dilapidated' office block to be transformed under new approved plans

Plans to convert an old office block in Walsall into 20 flats have been approved.

Millennium House, located at the junction of Lower Hall Lane and Upper Hall Lane, is located within the Church Hill Conservation Area.

The building had operated as offices until 2020, when a planning submission was sought to convert it into a temporary college.

The college operated for two years before closing its doors in 2022.

The proposal to convert the ‘dilapidated’ property, built in the late 1970s, was the third of its kind submitted by applicant Jacob Fekete.

Walsall Council refused the first application, submitted in 2022, due to continuous use and natural light requirements.
