HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -- Harrisburg Senators mounted a poor defense Friday, slipping back to second in the Eastern League's Southwest Division.

It could have been a chance for the Sens to secure a first-place lead in a crowded division, with at least two other teams within striking distance of the second-half crown. Instead, Harrisburg remained scoreless until bottom third, scoring on a Branden Boissiere RBI.

By then, the team was already facing a 1-5 deficit against the Altoona Curve, who hold the first-place spot.

Harrisburg would go on to score just twice more -- a Maxwell Romero Jr. RBI on a sacrifice fly in bottom fourth and a Cayden Wallace RBI in bottom eighth, also a sacrifice fly.
