Michigan State WR commit shows lethal speed as Detroit Catholic Central football dominates opener

NOVI -- Calling Samson Gash the fastest athlete in Michigan is not hyperbole.

A standout on the track for Detroit Catholic Central, Gash standout proved he was fastest in Michigan as a junior last spring when he won the MHSAA Division 1 100-meter dash state title with a new finals record time of 10.41 seconds.
