A mix-up with theatre tickets left us at a loose end last Friday. We thought we might as well use the refund to go out to dinner. We’re lucky enough to have plenty of options a 2km walk away – just far enough to work up an appetite.

We returned to a favourite, a tapas-style place with light bites at a good price and a nice wine selection.
