Stormy weather will stick around parts of New Mexico through the Labor Day weekend. Another cold front will bring more storms and cooler temperatures next week.

It was a much more active weather day with thunderstorms moving across New Mexico. These storms brought heavy rainfall to some areas. Storms are still moving through southern and eastern New Mexico tonight, but will end by Saturday morning. Drier air moves into northern and central New Mexico Saturday, pushing afternoon storm chances into southern and eastern New Mexico. Temperatures will stay warm across the state though.
