MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - There’s a lot to celebrate at the Dane County Regional Airport.

Airport officials said more than 200,000 passengers traveled through MSN in both June and July, marking two of the busiest months in recent history.

Officials said the airport experienced one its busiest weeks in airport history during 16-20 as many people were traveling for the EPIC conference.

During this time, officials said the following records were set (their wording):

set single-day records for passenger traffic, TSA screenings, and baggage handling.

enjoyed high load factors (up to 99% seat occupancy on August 21).

managed smooth passenger flow despite record volumes, with no major checkpoint delays.
