SAN JOSE — It’s hard to make history at a school that’s been around for 175 years.

Bellarmine accomplished that on two counts as it opened its season against Sobrato on Friday night in San Jose. The Bells hosted the Bulldogs for their first-ever on-campus night game, and they made it a worthwhile occasion for the packed crowd in attendance.

Behind a pair of field goals from senior kicker Micah Robinson, Bellarmine beat Sobrato 6-0, snapping an 11-game losing streak that dated back to the 2023 season and starting off 2025 with a win after an 0-10 season last year.
