Dallas built its early 1990s dynasty on the back of one of the most lopsided trades in NFL history.

The Cowboys, struggling at the time with the new owner-coach combination of Jerry Jones and Jimmy Johnson, shipped veteran star runner Herschel Walker to the Minnesota Vikings in 1989 for veteran players that eventually turned out to be a boatload of high draft picks.

Dallas parlayed the draft choices into a slew of future standouts. The Cowboys won three Super Bowls in the 1990s.

More than 30 years later, Jones has shipped his best player, Penn State great Micah Parsons, to the Green Bay Packers for a couple of first-round picks and a veteran defensive lineman.

Green Bay received an elite pass rusher.
