The second half of Parkland High School ’s 18-7 victory over visiting Freedom belonged to the Trojans’ Naquan Thomason, and the junior was more than ready for his big moment Friday night at Orefield Middle School Stadium.

“I never ran the ball that much in practice, but I knew when it came down to that moment I would step up,” said the 5-foot-7, 180-pounder. “I always have an ambition and passion to become great in everything I do.”
