RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Unlicensed contractor Jesse Steven Diaz, doing business as Battle Born Fence, was arrested at the Nevada State Contractors Board ’s Reno office on a felony warrant for theft up to $5,000 on Thursday, Aug. 28, according to an agency news release.

“Unlicensed contractors like Diaz are often found to break the construction laws Nevada has in place to protect consumers leaving them vulnerable and with little avenues for recourse,” said Executive Officer David Behar. “Our collaboration with the District Attorney’s office helps bring justice to these individuals and restitution to their victims.”

The Nevada State Contractors Board and the Capitol Police Division of the Nevada State Police Department made the arrest.
