The Libertytown-Unionville Lions Club hosted the Linganore High School Future Farmers of America (FFA) for a Maryland state debate prep on May 20. During the evening, the four FFA members debated the pros and cons of the Maryland Piedmont Reliability Project in a presentation titled “Ag Issues,” taking on both sides of an issue that has aroused controversy in Frederick County and much of the surrounding area.

The FFA members had asked to present to the Lions Club to practice for the Maryland FFA state competition in order to receive constructive feedback and further hone their public speaking skills.
