FCPS awarded $63K grant to support National Board Certification for teachers

In a split vote, the Frederick County Board of Education on Wednesday accepted a $63,217 grant to bolster the school district’s National Board Certification program.

The grant is from the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) and does not require a matching amount from Frederick County Public Schools.
