A beloved fashion boutique and charm bar in Subiaco will soon be closing its doors for the last time after the owner fell out of love with retail.

The owner of St Lucia Boutique on Rokeby Road took to social media on Thursday to announce the clothing store will be open in the “coming weeks” before closing down for good.

Alicia Kerrigan, who founded the store in 2021, said the difficult decision to close her business came with a heavy heart as she wasn’t “ready to let go but deep down was only delaying the inevitable”.

“While I wish I could say my heart is still in it, after closing our Joondalup store and navigating personal challenges, I’ve sadly lost my love for retail,” she said.
