Plymouth Argyle are playing in Wales for the second time in five days as they take on unbeaten League One leaders Cardiff City in a 12.30pm kick-off.

The Pilgrims clinched their first league win of the season when they beat Blackpool 1-0 at Home Park last Saturday after a goal early in the second half from midfielder Malachi Boateng.

Argyle then travelled to Championship club Swansea City for a Carabao Cup second round tie on Tuesday night, with head coach Tom Cleverley making eight changes to his starting line-up for that match.

The Pilgrims drew 1-1, with Brendan Wiredu equalising for them on the stroke of half-time, but then lost 5-3 on penalties to miss out on a place in the third round.
