There are lots of reasons to shop second hand - it’s sustainable, on trend and thrifty. But FA Concept Vintage owner Aymeric Futol says Perth’s fashionable women have also discovered it is a way to stand out from the pack.

“A lot of women will go to famous brands, Zimmerman for example, and they go to a party and the Zimmerman dress will have cost a few thousand dollars and then they end up having the same dress as another guest,” Futol says. “Now, people don’t always want the latest dress, they want something unique.”

Futol, along with his business partner Christian Fert, are the co-owners of FA Concept Vintage on Pier street which has been operating since 2020. They recently opened a pop up branch of their boutique in Brookfield Place on St Georges Terrace. Originally from Paris, Futol
