Saturday kicks off the holiday weekend with a limited, 30% chance of isolated downpours and storms. Tropical moisture begins to return to the area, supporting more cloud cover Saturday before fueling increased chances for rain by Sunday.

Expect a mainly quiet start to the day with only a spot shower near the coast Saturday morning. By the late morning and early afternoon, a few downpours may develop and track eastward, continuing in a hit-or-miss fashion through the later afternoon.

Expect partly-to-mostly cloudy skies for most of Saturday and highs near 90 degrees.

Rain chances increase to 60% for Sunday but taper to a 50% chance of scattered storms for Labor. Due to the potential of excessive rain, there is a low-end Level 1/4 risk for flooding for the Bay area Sunday and Monday.
