BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — The Florida Highway Patrol said a man driving a truck designed to minimize the impact of crashes was killed in a crash that occurred in the early-morning hours of Saturday.

At around 1:30 a.m., on southbound I-75 in Broward County, a truck was painting lines on the roadway and shoulder, moving at a slow speed. A third vehicle, a pick-up truck towing a boat, was coming up behind the workers and failed to slow down in time, colliding with the back of the Scorpion truck.
