Makhi Frazier rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown in his first career start and Aidan Chiles threw for 155 yards and a touchdown Friday night to help Michigan State to a 23-6 victory over Western Michigan at East Lansing, Mich., in the season opener for both schools.
Chiles was shaken up with 5:40 to play in the game when he was sacked and fumbled the ball. He was replaced by Alessio Milivojevic on the next Michigan State drive.
