FARGO — History and architecture lovers have an opportunity to enjoy both during the Clara Barton Hawthorne Historic Home Tour on Sunday, Sept. 14.

The biennial event offers community members a chance to see historic homes while also raising money that will be used to fund free events to bring Clara Barton and Hawthorne neighbors together. The self-guided tour is set from noon to 5 p.m. and tickets cost $25.

This year's eight homes span the 1900s to 1960s in a reflection of "the city's evolving character and style," according to a press release about the event. Visitors will receive an informational booklet about the homes.
