SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Welcome to the weekend! After a stormy and dreary end to the week, most of the area will remain dry through much of this weekend! The storms today will likely remain in our southwestern corner of the ArkLaTex through this morning and into the early afternoon before dissipating. The same story is expected for Sunday as well, with a few showers escaping to the northeast towards Shreveport-Bossier City. Highs will remain in the 80s through this weekend, and some could hit the lower 90s by Labor Day!
