Barak Ravid, an Israeli journalist and analyst for CNN, cited a "US official" stating: "Trump is OK. Will play Golf this morning." ‌

The unverified claims of Trump's demise have been circulating on X and Facebook, despite the former president only being out of the public eye for three days. These false rumours may be linked to recent health concerns after Trump was photographed with what appeared to be a bruise on his right hand. ‌

Comments from Trump's own Vice President JD Vance, as well as Simpsons creator Matt Groening, discussing the leader's potential passing, could also be fuelling the speculation, reports the Mirror .
