A cyberattack shut down the Maryland Transit Administration’s mobility transit service.
The agency is now suggesting riders use a private company, Hart to Heart, as transportation until further notice.
People who depend on the mobility service are upset and unconvinced, complaining about how disruptive the issue is. One person had to cancel a doctor appointment.
The attack is disrupting the scheduling of pickups in its mobility service vans. The issue is hitting some of society’s most vulnerable.
“I had to cancel a doctor appointment because there is no mobility. I’m going to catch two buses that will take me about an hour and a half,” said Bob McDonald Walker, a Baltimore resident.
Sandy Kreatschman is disappointed because she’s in the process of filling out paperwork to receive the
