Police are looking for a suspect after a stolen vehicle was located in Cambridge.
Officers responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the Hespeler area on Friday around 10 a.m.
Police found the vehicle and said there was one male passenger inside who they arrested.
Police determined the vehicle had been stolen from the Greater Toronto Area.
Officers are looking for the driver, who fled from the area. He is described as a man in his 20s, wearing a blue baseball cap, sunglasses, black T-shirt, khaki vest, beige pants and white shoes.
Police said the arrested man provided a false identity. He was found to be wanted by the Ottawa Police Service and was on release conditions at the time. He’s been charged with possession over $5,000, obstructing police and breach of a release order.
