Wichita scored all of its runs in the bottom of the fourth inning on Jake Rucker's three-run home run and sent Arkansas to its four consecutive loss Friday night at Equity Bank Park in Wichita, Kan.
Both teams managed just four hits each, but the Wind Surge had three in the decisive fourth. With one out, Nate Baez singled to left and Ben Ross followed with a single. After Arkansas starter Michael Morales (2-7) struck out Jose Salas, Rucker lined his three-run homer to left-center field to end the scoring.
Morales went 6 innings, allowing the 4 hits while striking out 5.
Wichita starter C.J. Culpepper (2-1) gave up three hits and struck out four in picking up the victory.
