After enduring years of irritating college diversity workshops, full of stereotypes of Blacks, Asians, and other groups, we watched a video of Chimamanda Adichie lecturing on “The Danger of a Single Story.” She spoke on the stereotyping found in ignorance. No, not stupidity, but the ignorance that might lead people to believe most Arabs are vicious terrorists and Nigerians, like her, dress in animal skins.
