Both Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev will be playing their third-round matches at the US Open on Saturday (August 30). Sinner is expected to face some challenges as he will be up against 27th seed, Denis Shapovalov , against whom he trails 0-1 in the head-to-head matchups, losing in the first round of the 2021 Australian Open.

Zverev, on the other hand, will be locking horns with 25th seed Felix Auger-Aliassime . He and Sinner are projected to meet in the semifinal.
