A lease dispute between a church and a religious school on its east Loveland campus that neared settlement more than a year ago has flared up again, with Resurrection Fellowship church suing Resurrection Christian School in Larimer District Court.

The school, meanwhile, has stated its case to families in a recent letter, claiming church interference with school operations.

The church’s lawsuit contended that the school hasn’t kept its part of a settlement agreement reached last year.

“Through this action, the Church seeks redress for RCS’s numerous breaches of the parties’ 99-year lease, as amended by a subsequent settlement agreement, which governs the use and stewardship of Church Property in Loveland, Colorado,” the church’s lawyers wrote in the new complaint filed Monday. “Despite t
