Get ready for a cool, maybe even chilly start to September for many as an even stronger cold moves in during the week ahead. The Northern Plains will see the coolest weather arrive on Wednesday as high temperatures may not make it out of the 50s and 60s! The cooler air moves south Thursday, dropping high temperatures a good 10-20 degrees below average as far south as Oklahoma, Arkansas and Tennessee.
