It looks like we're in for a real treat as we head into the extended forecast period! We've been monitoring the pattern and it's shaping up to be a mostly tranquil stretch for us here in Lafayette and across Northern Indiana.

The upcoming weekend, including the Labor Day holiday, is looking exceptionally pleasant. We can expect dry conditions and plenty of sunshine to go around, making it perfect for any outdoor plans you might have. Temperatures will be generally comfortable, near to perhaps a little below normal for this time of year, but not in a way that feels out of the ordinary. The nights will also be quite pleasant, with clear skies allowing temperatures to drop into the 50s, which is quite nice after a warm summer.
