The system uses the following ratings, based on points assessed for each violation.

• Pass: The establishment meets fundamental food safety standards, although it could have some violations. (0-49 points)

• Reinspection required: Food safety violations were found, and the establishment has a higher level of risk with violations. (50-109 points)

• Closed: Significant unsanitary conditions or other imminent health hazards were found. (over 110 points)
