It's a good idea to throw on light and loose clothing, grab your sunglasses and pack some water as you get ready to head out the door Friday. Skies have stayed clear overnight, and we'll be sunny to start the day. Thin clouds will brush east across our region from mid-day through this evening, and that will leave us with a mostly sunny afternoon. Temperatures are starting out in the low to mid 60's in the valley, upper 50's to low 70's in the foothills, and 40's to low 50's in our mountain zones this morning. South winds to 10mph are expected this afternoon. High temperatures are projected to climb into the upper 90's to low triple digits in the valley, 80's to low 90's in the foothills and Sierra, and 80's to mid 90's in the Northern Mountains this afternoon.
