Days after defeating State Rep. Juandalynn Givan (D-Birmingham), Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin endorsed her challenger in the State House, Alicia Escott Lumpkin.
Woodfin stated, "District 60 deserves better than finger-pointing and excuses. That’s why I’m proud to endorse Alicia Escott Lumpkin – a lifelong Birmingham resident and proven public servant who puts people first."
Lumpkin launched her campaign on May 28.
"I’m not running for attention or chasing titles. I’m running to serve the people of District 60 with the focus, dedication, and follow-through you deserve.
