Oscar-winning actor reveals he no longer watches movies. ‘I’m tired of movies.’

Oscar-winning film star Denzel Washington recently shared a sentiment that shocked many fans.

The iconic actor revealed in a GQ interview alongside that he no longer watches movies.

In a recent GQ interview alongside filmmaker Spike Lee and rapper A$AP Rocky , the “Training Day” star said that he is “tired of movies.”

“I don’t watch movies, man. I really don’t,” Washington told the rapper after he inquired of Washington’s favorite film shots from Lee.

Washington and Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, star in Lee’s new film “ Highest 2 Lowest . " The film debuted in select theaters Aug. 15 and will be available to stream on Apple TV+ starting Sept. 5.

“I’m just being honest with you! I don’t watch movies, man! I don’t go to the movies. I don’t watch movies,” Washington continued.
