ANN ARBOR, MI — Michael Alexander, 62, has brought his trailer to University of Michigan home football games for over a decade. He said he hasn’t missed a home game “in years.”
“It’s just an experience,” Alexander said. “I bring two of my kids here and now my grandson here, my granddaughter and you have fun together. We’re busy in life and this is one time you can relax and have a good time and see each other and play games and then there’s still a football game afterwards.”
Alexander is one of many attendees who regularly bring their creative, maize-and-blue trailers to the Ann Arbor Pioneer High School parking lot nearby Michigan Stadium for Saturday football.
Attendees are required to reserve parking spots in advance of home games.
