WATERTOWN — It's going to take more than one game for Watertown High School's football team to start making long-lasting memories in its new stadium.

Fourth-rated Class 11AAA Sioux Falls Jefferson spoiled the high school football debut at the newly-renovated Allen Mitchell Athletic Complex on Friday, Aug. 29, 2025, scoring 37 unanswered points in the final three quarters on the way to a 51-7 win.

It was Watertown's first-ever home game on a turf field and the first home game since 1941 the Arrows have played away from Watertown Stadium.
