GREEN BAY — Matt LaFleur said the word three times, in rapid succession. But he wasn’t the only one to use it in the aftermath of the trade that brought Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers.

To be sure, the former Dallas Cowboys star pass rusher is a rare talent. When your accomplishments are putting you in the company of Pro Football Hall of Famer and Packers legend Reggie White , there’s no doubt you are a special player.

But rarer still, in both the Packers head coach’s mind and from general manager Brian Gutekunst’s perspective, was the fact that such a player would be available in the first place.
