SCITUATE, Mass. (WLNE) — Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz said that a man was arrested in connection with the murder of a man dropped off at South Shore Hospital.

42-year-old Christopher Caron was charged with murder after turning himself in to the Scituate Police Department Saturday.

Cruz said that on Aug. 23 a body was found in the back of a vehicle at the hospital.

The body, which was identified as being 27-year-old Declan Perry of Portland, Maine, was wrapped in multiple blankets and bound with duct tape.

Caron allegedly drove the body to the hospital, alerted staff, and then fled.

Neighbors of Caron also told police that they allegedly helped assist him load a “large, heavy blanket” into the back of a vehicle.
