Lucy Letby, a convicted killer nurse, has reportedly befriended a notorious paedophile in her women's prison, according to sources.

Letby, 35, is said to be associating with Sally Dixon in the segregation unit of HMP Bronzefield in Surrey. Dixon, a transgender woman, is serving a 20-year sentence for a series of sex attacks on seven children while still living as a man.

Dixon, who was previously known as John, was recently moved to the unit for protected prisoners following threats from other inmates. A source revealed: "Letby isn't fussy about who she socialises with. Dixon is relatively new to what is known as the VIP wing but fits right in with all the oddballs.
