The Michigan football season has arrived and with it, the first official gameday availability report.

Rod Moore, U-M's fifth-year safety and second-year captain will not suit up for the Wolverines as he continues his recovery from his ACL tear in the spring of 2024.

Moore told the Free Press he was "85%" in late July and while he was trending in the right direction, he would not guarantee a return date. He could be cleared in time for U-M's Week 2 matchup at Oklahoma on Saturday, Sept. 6.

"I have to have my feet all the way back under me," Moore said in July. "I don't want to go out there and put bad tape out. I'd just rather be safer about how healthy I am before I go back on the field."

Also ruled out: Quarterback Davis Warren, running backs John Volker and Bryson Kuzdzal, lineb
