Lady Gaga is returning to the MTV VMAs .

Gaga has officially joined the list of 2025 VMAs performers set to appear at this year’s awards ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 7. Both MTV and the VMAs announced the exciting news on social media Saturday.

“There will be magic in the air at the 2025 #VMAs because @LADYGAGA IS PERFORMING!” the VMAs shared on Instagram. “You won’t want to miss her return.”

Mother Monster joins an already announced slate of performers including Sabrina Carpenter , Doja Cat , Jelly Roll , Post Malone and Tate McRae . Sombr, Alex Warren and J Balvin featuring DJ Snake will also hit the VMAs stage.
