BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Texas A&M safety Dalton Brooks is out for Saturday’s season opener against UTSA, an A&M spokesperson confirmed.
Brooks was in street clothes during A&M’s warmups.
Beyond Brooks, head coach Mike Elko announced Monday that freshman wide receiver Jerome Myles would miss the entire season, along with offensive lineman Papa Ahfua.
Offensive lineman Reuben Fatheree II was on the sideline on crutches Saturday. Elko said Monday that Fatheree would miss the first few games of the season.
However, as expected, running back Le’Veon Moss was suited up and ready to go after recovering from a torn ACL and MCL last season.
